5 tips to maintain a healthy lifestyle

Now we give you some tips on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle more easily. Once you get used to it, you won't experience it as "difficult" anymore.

1 Be realistic and not too strict

There is no point in being super strict with yourself. If you want to take big steps and forbid yourself a lot, your motivation will drop sharply. Saying "I can't eat sweets anymore" from one day to the next will be very difficult. Therefore, choose a realistic approach that you can maintain. Slowly making small adjustments ensures successful changes. The road to a healthy lifestyle is best taken step by step.

2 Take a healthy snack with you

When you are on the roadand you suddenly get hungry, chances are you'll reach for unhealthy snacks at the store. It is therefore best to always take along a healthy snack that gives you a good feeling of satiation. What are good snacks? You can eat nuts, Greek yogurt (with granola), .... 3 Prepare your food in advance

Would you sometimes still dare to lose your motivation? Then write down some reasons why you do it. Whenever you feel less motivated, you can go through this list. This way you will be reminded again why you are doing your utmost.

5 Focus on the road ahead

It is important not to focus too much on the goal. The goal in itself will usually only motivate you temporarily. To learn a new lifestyle, it is better to work with small steps in the right direction. Therefore, commit to doing just a little better every day. For example, say 'today I will eat a little less unhealthy stuff'. In the following days you can reduce your unhealthy habits bit by bit. Also remember that you cannot deny yourself everything. Eat everything in moderation and your healthy lifestyle will be a success.
