Learning how to have breakfast

- Categories : Breakfast

We have all heard the saying: "in the morning eat like an emperor, in the afternoon like a king and in the evening like a beggar". Breakfast is therefore the most important meal of the day. However, breakfast is one of the meals that is skipped most often. Mainly due to lack of time or hunger. Yet often it is just a matter of habit. Breaking habits and creating new routines takes time. It is therefore important to look for something that is feasible. Here are some tips on how to do this.

1 Prepare your breakfast in advance

There are many recipes that you can make in advance and keep in convenient portions such as this banana bread, healthy waffles or cupcakes. They save you a lot of time in the morning and are convenient since you do not have to ask yourself "what am I going to eat now" anymore.

Breakfast on- the- go

Although it is always better to eat breakfast in a relaxed and conscious manner, an on-the-go breakfast can sometimes be the ideal solution. Not only in case of a lack of time, but also if you are really not that hungry. Since you have already been active for a while and did not have breakfast immediately after getting up, it is often easier to have your breakfast later. The recipes above are great for on-the-go breakfasts. Go-pots such as these are great as well.

3 Experiment and vary

Nothing is more annoying than eating for the sake of eating. Try to find something you like but do not be afraid of variation. Nothing is more fun than a healthy waffle or pancakes for breakfast on Sundays.

4 Plan your breakfast

You probably already have a routine for getting up, but having breakfast is not part of it yet. Try, for example, to always get up at (about) the same time. This way, your body gets used to being active at this time of day and it becomes easier to have breakfast. Also important when grocery shopping: make sure you always put your favourite breakfast ingredients in your shopping cart.

Good luck with these tips!
